We invite you to share the objectives you've established as a student-athlete. For many families, this moment often marks the first opportunity to come together and envision the university experience they desire. This serves as an excellent foundation, enabling us to align expectations, make tailored recommendations, and develop a personalised plan moving forward.

Academics play a crucial role in any recruitment process. We will review the core academic requirements for NCAA, NAIA, and NJCAA, convert your grades into a Grade Point Average (GPA), evaluate your academic performance, and examine your ACT and/or SAT scores. This will allow us to recommend an effective action plan to enhance your academic standing.

Together, we will develop your online profile, which provides a platform for you to gain visibility among college coaches seeking talented recruits. Your profile will showcase your essential physical specifications, key statistics relevant to your sport, academic background, a personal statement, your highlights and any skills videos.

  We require video highlights or skill demonstrations so coaches can gauge your abilities effectively. We will work with you and our videographer to compile clips provided to showcase your talents effectively to prospective coaches. 

As well as the academic and sporting wishes of the prospective student athlete there are a number of other factors to consider when deciding which university is right for you. Through consultation and open communication, we can endeavour to find this perfect opportunity for 

Communication must begin with the prospective college coaches. Assisted by ourselves you will be guided through the process of getting a feel for your prospective new coach and the team you may soon be joining. dreams of playing while receiving an education.

In most cases you will be required to complete either an SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or ACT (American College Testing). We will provide all support material and assist you in preparing and completing the required tests

Any non US citizen wishing to study in the United States of America will first be required to acquire a visa. We are here to guide you through this process, assisting along the way with the jargon, form filling and pre-screening requirements

If everything proceeds as planned, you may receive multiple scholarship offers to consider. We will assist you in making informed decisions, help you leverage these offers, and advise you on how and when to transition from a verbal offer to a formal written commitment. We are here with you every step of the way.

 Like all aspiring college freshmen, student-athletes need to navigate the college application process effectively and make the most of financial aid opportunities. We’ll guide you through the Common Application as well as the timing and procedures for financial aid.

From the time our student-athletes commit to Student of the Game to when they arrive in the US and throughout their journey from the first day of classes to graduation, Student of the Game is committed to offering pastoral support. Our dedicated team is always available to assist with any questions, issues, or concerns. 

It is possible to transfer from one college or university to another throughout your time in the US. This may be due to a whole host of reasons. If this is an option you wish to explore for any reason at all, Student of the Game are here to help, from restarting the process of contacting prospective coaches to credit tranfers for university units already completed
